Don't get me wrong, I loveee shopping for myself - who the heck doesn't? But holiday shopping for other people is my absolute fave. When you find that one special prezzie that you know your loved one is gonna go gaga over - isn't that just the best feeling?! I look forward to doing my gift hunting every year, and always from the comfort of my own home - no crazy malls and Black Friday lines for me plz. So I've rounded up the biggest baddest boho gift guide for all those free spirited, plant loving, decor obsessed babes in your life. This also doubles as my own personal Christmas list, because tbh I want every single thing on here - some things I even already own! Keep scrolling for alllll the treasures, and happy shopping!Read More
It's the first day of September and even though it's still technically summer, I'm diving in head first to fall colors. My current obsession is sienna, a beautifully rich combo of brown, orange, and yellow. I love the earthy feel to it, and I'm especially digging this shade on my Free People Kimono. The tie dye pattern gives it that extra boho feel, and it's super soft and flowy which is always a plus for me.Read More
Happy Friday! This week Eddie brought me to a gorgeous trail in Playa Vista he found, filled with beautiful little yellow daisies. It was such a pretty day and a very quiet trail - we even met a few animal friends while we there! Someone had wrote "CASH ME OUSSIDE" in black sharpie on the trail's railing, which made me LOL tbh. How bow dah!!!

A few things I love: shopping, food, string lights, and cacti. Platform in Culver City has them all. And I'm obsessed! This little outdoor shopping district is not only gorgeously designed, it also has really awesome merchants and pop up shops all located next to the Expo Line's Culver City station. I live right nearby so there's no need for me to jump on the metro, but for those coming from other parts of LA, I can imagine this is crazy convenient! Platform is also still really new, it only just opened last year and they are consistently adding new shops which is very exciting. They just confirmed recently that Reformation will be opening their second LA boutique here soon. Cannot WAIT! Keep reading for a few of my fave parts of this crazy cool shopping center.
Gimme dat coffee! Blue Bottle is popping up all over LA and I'm 100% down with it. One opened on Abbot Kinney in Venice and the one at Platform is very cool. Order your coffee/pastry then head back to the book shelf and grab a book to read- up the stairs is a cute sitting area filled with poufs and mini tables. Or bring your laptop and go to town! You could also sit outside and admire the amazing Floral Art shop next door.
INSIDER TIP: If you end up driving, park in the crazy cool structure with the Technicolor Drip mural by Jen Stark. Take the elevator all the way up to the top for awesome LA views, including the Downtown city skyline!
Sweetgreen just opened recently and although I haven't tried it yet, I've heard great things. I need to get on that ASAP!
Loqui is a must visit for delish Mexican food. I love their chicken tacos & chips/guac! Soooo yummy, can't get enough.
Check out The Cannibal for a good meal and drinks. My friends and I usually order a bunch of things for the table to share which is always a fun time. I love ordering that way because then I get to try a little of everything! Some fave drinks of mine include The Samitaur and the Honey Basil Sling. Perrrrrrfection.
And there you have it! I'd love to hear your fave parts of Platform if you check it out for yourself. Be sure to leave a comment and let me know! Hope you all have a great weekend xoxo

One of the reasons I love living in West LA is that I get to be right in the middle of all my favorite districts. Just a few minutes from my apartment there's Playa Vista, Playa Del Rey, Venice, Manhattan Beach, and more. One of my faves is Marina Del Rey, a small seaside community surrounding a beautiful harbor. It's only a 5 mile drive from my home, but it feels very different from the surrounding beach cities. Fisherman's Village is a pretty little waterfront center in Marina with restaurants and shops, constructed in the style of a New England seaport and fishing town.
Fisherman's Village is tiny but lots of fun to visit - there are live music concerts every weekend and people are always dancing and laughing. Such a happy place! There's a bunch of other fun things to do too - eat/drink at the restaurants, go on a harbor cruise, rent a boat or kayak, go paddle boarding, or even parasailing. It's also just a beautiful place to ride your bike or go for a stroll.
Behold, the most colorful purse I've ever owned! I fell hard for the yellow & blue, and obvi those darling TASSELS.
Cotton Candy LA makes some of my fave clothes - this faux suede mini dress actually feels really comfy & cozy on!
That bright blue lighthouse givin' me LIFE.
