Paradise in Palos Verdes

Thank you to Terranea Resort for hosting my stay. All opinions are my own - as always!

Tucked away above coastal bluffs on the Palos Verdes Peninsula you’ll find one of Los Angeles’s hidden gems - the stunning Terranea Resort. Eddie and I had the pleasure of a lil staycation weekend at this slice of heaven, and we fell in love hard. From the drool-worthy restaurants, the beautiful landscaping, and oh those ocean views - we felt so lucky to be able to experience such a magical place together. Sharing my photo diary of our stay below!

Cabo San Lucas Getaway

My first real trip to Mexico, and it was magic. I’ve been wanting to visit Cabo for years - beautiful weather, stunning beaches, and gorge resorts? Sign. me. up. So when the Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa invited me to come stay, I pinched myself a few hundred times and then immediately jumped at the chance.

A Relaxing Weekend in Santa Barbara

I’ve been to Santa Barbara a handful of times, but only for day trips and never overnight! It’s such a beautiful city, only 2 hours up the coast from Los Angeles and so much fun to explore. Eddie and I decided to make it a weekend getaway this time, taking it slow instead of trying to pack in as much as possible in one day. Since we’ve been here before, we didn’t feel the need to revisit the usual tourist attractions, and instead spent a lot of time relaxing at our beautiful hotel, going on bike rides, and taking the most gorge walk around the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden.

Death Valley, Nevada

Eddie turned the big 3-0 a few weeks ago and I wanted to take him on a road trip to celebrate! We’ve never explored Nevada outside of Las Vegas, so we decided a getaway to Death Valley would be new and fun. Filled with ghost towns, saloons, sand dunes, and more, we headed out for a weekend of desert exploration. Sharing where we stayed and what we saw!

A Fun Filled Weekend At The Wigwam, Arizona

Thank you to The Wigwam for hosting my stay. All opinions are my own - as always!

I finally made it to Arizona for the first time ever! I’ve been craving a getaway to this cactus-filled wonderland, and now I can finally check it off my bucket list. My stay at The Wigwam was an absolute dream, filled with yummy food & drinks, new experiences, and total relaxation. The property is celebrating the 90th Anniversary of its guest ranch, and it was such a pleasure to learn the history of this Arizona treasure. Located in the town of Litchfield Park just 20 miles outside of Phoenix, the weather was absolutely perfect during my stay and the citrus scent of the orange trees that cover the grounds was amazing aromatherapy. I want to share with you some of my fave parts of the trip, as well as photos of the beautiful resort - I honestly was in heaven, as I’m sure you could imagine!

The Most Stylish Airbnb In Twentynine Palms, CA

When my dear friend Lindsay Hollinger of Casa Joshua Tree told me she had bought a second house to turn into a full time Airbnb, I knew we were in for some interior magic y’all. Together with her bff and business partner James Burial, they renovated and transformed this 1,200 square foot 3 bedroom home into the ultimate desert retreat, fondly named #ThatDesertHouse. Lindsay and James spent 6 months on renovations and did most of the work themselves - all the time, energy, and love they put into the space really shows.

Exploring the Darling Town of Los Alamos, CA

If you’re in the mood for a quaint lil California getaway filled with delish food, gem-filled antique shops, and amaze wines, Los Alamos is for you. A sweet, tiny town in Santa Barbara county with an Old West rancher vibe, the majority of shops and restaurants cover a 3 block stretch on the main road of Bell Street. You could easily explore everything in one day, but I’d recommend taking it slow and soaking in all the goodness - unwind and take your time! I was looking to do just that, and since Eddie had to work this particular weekend, I decided to take a little solo trip and explore the town by myself. Where I stayed, ate, drank, and shopped below!

Glamping Eco Tent in Vista, CA

It’s tradition for Eddie and I to go on a little getaway around Christmas. It serves as a nice escape from the Los Angeles holiday craze, and doubles as a birthday trip for moi (I’m a Christmas eve bb!). Last year we went to Borrego Springs, and the year before we went to Temecula. This year, we headed to Vista in San Diego County, where I booked us a stay at the most darling Eco Tent Airbnb.
